MotoBR

According to Transport for London, approximately 50.000 people are currently working as motorcycle delivery drivers in London (of which Brazilian are one of the biggest populations!) – and at the same time, they are pretty much invisible.

MotoBR is a performance project where the audience is invited to share a meal with Brazilian delivery drivers and embark on a journey exploring the lives of those who are usually invisible behing delivery orders. Through recipes, dreams, music, stories and memories, drivers share their experience of migrating and working in the courier industry in London.

This co-creation performance project gives participants a platform to creatively speak for themselves while illuminating aspects of the relationship between migration, cheap and unregulated labour and technology in the 21st century.
