Praça pra quê? (2011)
Praça pra quê? is an ethnographic film exploring a day in the life of a public space: the main square of Florianópolis (Brasil), a Praça XV. On a summer day in 2011, between sunrise and sunset, Gustavo Dias-Vallejo talks to visitors and passersby, workers and tourists, revealing an unique and ephemerous combination of social backgrounds, trajectories, routines and relationships with the city.
